Take a Tour
A warm welcome awaits you at Maggie’s. Your guided tour will take in our homely playrooms, the Forest School, animal areas, allotments and Peter Rabbit’s Cabin. You’ll meet members of our leadership team and have plenty of time to ask questions.

Baby Rooms
Gentle Beginnings, Outdoor Naps,
And Cosy Spaces Where Little Ones
Feel Safe And Loved.
A calm, homely space where your baby feels safe, loved and curious about the world. Our practitioners follow each child’s own rhythm, offering gentle care, sensory play and outdoor naps surrounded by birdsong. Every cuddle, smile and discovery builds the foundations for secure, happy learning.
Toddler Rooms
Messy Play, First Friendships,
And A World Full Of Curiosity And Discovery.
Busy little hands, big imaginations! In our Toddler Room, children explore through movement, messy play and early friendships. We encourage independence through fun daily routines, from putting on wellies to helping prepare snacks, while outdoor adventures spark language and confidence.

Early Years
Forest adventures,
practical life skills, and the
confidence to take the next step.
Our Early Years is a hive of creativity, teamwork and discovery. Children learn through real-world experiences — growing vegetables, caring for animals and leading their own projects. With a balance of play and gentle structure, they build the curiosity, confidence and kindness that prepare them beautifully for school.
Forest School
2.5 acres of woodland,
allotments, animals and streams,
where childhood is lived to the fullest.
The heart of Maggie’s. Led by qualified Forest School practitioners, children learn practical skills, teamwork and resilience through woodland adventures. From den building and fire-lighting to outdoor cooking and wildlife spotting, the forest becomes their classroom — a place to explore, create and grow with wonder.

An Extension of Your Family.
We see ourselves as an extension of your family. Clear communication, strong relationships and thoughtful routines help children feel secure and happy from day one.
Settling-in
We plan settling‑in around your child. You’ll meet your key person, share routines and interests, and agree a gentle start so drop‑offs become calm and confident for you both.

Your Child’s day
Children spend lots of time outdoors – from breakfast to late afternoon there are adventures to be had. Indoors, cosy playrooms support language, creativity and early maths through purposeful play. We balance freedom with structure so learning flows naturally.
Forest School
Our qualified team leads sessions where children learn practical skills, teamwork and problem‑solving. Activities include den building, tool use, fire safety, outdoor cooking and nature crafts. Every child works towards their own Forestry Passport.

Animal care
Children take part in real routines – feeding, grooming and checking on animal wellbeing. These responsibilities nurture empathy, confidence and resilience.
Food and Nutrition
All meals are cooked on site by our nursery chef, with seasonal menus and plenty of fruit and veg from our gardens. We cater for dietary requirements and talk to children about healthy choices.
